Due to federal law changes, Ohio will resume conducting annual eligibility redeterminations for Medicaid recipients, effective April 1, 2023. Residents with Medicaid who no longer meet eligibility criteria or who fail to complete and return a renewal application will be disenrolled and lose coverage. This will be a gradual process spread out over the next 12 months. Learn more.
The Medicaid program provides eligible Franklin County residents with access to health care, medical treatment, mental and behavioral health services and more through a variety of programs, including:
Franklin County Medicaid recipients are eligible for free transportation to and from non-emergency medical appointments. Call the FCDJFS Transportation Unit at 614-233-2381 to make arrangements. All requests must be made at least 24 hours or one business day before your doctor's appointment. Additional Resources:
